Customers say
Customers find the primer effective for oily skin, providing a beautiful glow and smooth application. The product receives positive feedback for its quality and value, with one customer noting it works better than more expensive alternatives like ILMAKIAGE. While some customers say it's not greasy, others find it feels greasy going on. The pore-minimizing effects are mixed, with some customers saying it blurs pores while others report no improvement.

Fantastic primer!
I absolutely love this product. I have tried numerous highlighting primers and i dont even have to wear a top foundation over this. I also purchased the contouring blush. Goes on smooth and clean.

Really works!
Really blurs pores well and feels like your not wearing anything. Better than products that are double the price.

UPDATED: Healthy glow, smooth. PREVIOUS: OK. Thicker than the previous Milani primer I bought.
Review updated 04/29/25: Now that I have gotten used to this primer, I really like it. It is thicker than the other Milani primer that I was accustomed to, so it actually also serves as a foundation of sorts. It leaves the skin looking smooth, with a healthy glow.Previous review: It’s OK, but thicker than the Milani primer I was “in love” with. However, I couldn’t buy the one I liked because when I called Milani, I was told that it’s for oily skin, and I have dry skin. The one I liked was very light and felt like silk; it came in the black tube and the gel was pinkish.NOTE: I’m a woman and my son purchased the product for me on his AmazonU account, so I’m writing the review here.

Very blendable, not crazy shiny, (paired with Milani correctors rose & melon) really hid sun spots
I’m 63 and the texture of my skin has definitely changed. I’m always trying primers and foundations. To add to the problem, I have some crazy sun spots, from all those fun days at the creek, when I was growing up. I can afford good products and I have gone through plenty, searching for camouflage to soften the look of my darn sun spots. I bough a few milani products a couple weeks age and literally misplaced them. I found them today and did a trial run. I started by applying the rose and melon corrected on my sunspots & blended. Then I applied the primer and I applied the correctors again, to my sunspots and blended again. I let everything set for about 5 min and then I used the 01 honey corrector as a contour, as its for warmer skin tones. I used it on my cheekbones, my temples and even my eyes. I was so pleased with the natural looking results, that I had to do a video, to prove that it really camouflaged my sun spots. Nothing will ever conceal them fully, which I accept, but this combo did really well. I actually felt no need to apply any foundation . I’ve tried other illuminating primers and they leave me looking way too shiny and I end up applying powder, to calm the effect. I did not feel the need to do that with this product. It feels nice on the skin, kind of like a light moisturizer. I’m glad I discovered this. I’ll be traveling soon & I’ll transfer some of the primer into a smaller bottle, so it’ll take up less space. Applying the primer, camouflaging my sunspots and doing some light contouring, took all of 3 minutes….I was just amazed and mostly relieved, to find a combo that gave such nice results. I can’t attest to the longevity, but I will spritz with a setting spray, as I always do, and hope everything stays in place.

Works and Doesn’t Clog Pores
While this has dimethicone it doesn’t clog my pores like other products that contain that ingredient do. This is a lightweight primer that has less “slip” than the Maybelline one I’ve been using, that keeps drying out in the tube and balling up on my face. I use primer only on my nose and the Milani is working well and stays put all day. I’m impressed, especially for the price point. Milani for the win on this one!

Not Matte
Feels good, no chalky appearance, but does not help with oil control or give a matte appearance

Less is more……
I use this as a moisturizer. The only negative is I have to wait for it to dry before applying my foundation. However, I love the creamyness of the product and having to wait for it to absorb helps me concentrate on applying a thin layer. I’m always of the mindset set that if a little is good, more is better. Also, the price point is fantastic .
