Lightweight but passes the test!
After my favorite brand of primer changed their formula, this was recommended to me by a pro makeup artist. I love the weight and feel of this one, as well as the light scent!! Works beautifully and holds up in the heat!!

Goes on smoothly, almost like velvet. Stays smooth (does not crumble/pill like some brands). Makeup goes on nicely after using this. Stays strong all day. I use this with IT Cosmetics foundation.

Absolutely amazing primer
This is a fabulous primer! Goes on smooth as silk and makes the makeup last all day. I have used just the primer without setting spray and the makeup stayed fresh all day! It doesn’t dry my skin out either, so plus points for that. It is pricey but I only use makeup occasionally so it’s worth the money!

This is as silky smooth as the name suggests. You need to apply section by section of your face as opposed to getting some and applying it all over your face otherwise it can pill.

Nice But Pricey
I bought this to do my own bridal makeup. I wanted nice quality products that would look great and last well for my wedding day that I could also use day-to-day after the wedding. This primer feels nice and provides a nice, moist base layer under makeup, but I didn’t notice anything amazing about it that would justify the price to me. My drugstore primers work just as well and cost a lot less.

Too Drying for Full-Face Use, But Works in Targeted Areas
While the Tatcha Silk Canvas is great for oil control and blurring pores, it didn’t work well on my skin overall because it’s too drying. If I apply it all over, my makeup doesn’t look good and can grip unevenly.I’ve found I can only use it minimally in certain areas—like my forehead, around my nose, and on my chin—where I need extra oil control. It’s a nice product for targeted use, but not ideal for my whole face.

I really love this lightweight primer and often wear it on it’s own. I was concerned at first because there is a scent and I do have a sensitivity to scented products, but surprisingly the scent dissipated quite quickly and didn’t cause me any allergic reaction. I love Tacha products (incredible quality), but they are usually so expensive. Really glad to get this on sale.
