HOW TO APPLY: You can use this matte foundation makeup wet or dry with the included dual-sided pink and white applicator sponge. For more serious coverage, apply it wet with the white side of the sponge. Dampen the sponge, dab the powder and pat onto face then blend outward and upward until fully blended.

Great coverage however the medium is more like a golden medium. Very much has orange tone to it. I’m going to give it another shot and order one shade lighter. Just hope it’s not too light.

Laura Geller advertises this powder can achieve full coverage used as a foundation.. it’s this hardish dome of… I guess it’s powder, but when I take my brush to it, no powder comes off.It’s like a ball of something, when I took my brush to it I scrape the surface of the dome to get some powder on the brush. Sadly I must report, It didn’t cover enough to take the pink from my cheeks, (and it’s not like they’re super pink they’re a little pinky)And it seems to be a solid piece of something.. I don’t know what. But when you take your makeup brush and you’re getting some powder on your brush and the powder sort of flies into the air you can see that it’s powder this does not do that. You have to scrape it with something sharp to scratch on it, rough it up to be able to get some pieces to blot your brush on.I really wanted it to work I wanted it to be a good powder. It seemed almost not a powder. It didn’t want to powder. I’m still looking for some magical face powder with opaque coverage. The swirl pattern on it is just a gimmick. I found the blush to be way too bright as Pinky Orange. I’m sad and disappointed. Ms. Geller made it sound like all that.. trumped up marketing, this swirl pattern is a simple gimmick.

Perfect for mature skin.
I’m 56 and have my share of fine lines around my eyes and mouth. I have used liquid foundation all my life. It just wasn’t working anymore. None of them. I had been looking at this for some time but I was afraid it would be drying to my skin. I finally decided to just buy it and try it. I used it with one of Laura Geller’s concealers (which was also new to me) and they looked flawless together on my face. It was not drying, it didn’t look cakey, it didn’t settle into fine lines and if possible, made me look a little younger than I am. It’s a great value for the money. This foundation is great for mature skin. I highly recommend it.

Great product for my skin. Build up for coverage of any blemishes. My skin is currently very dry in some places but can get greasy with liquid foundation. I’m nearly 50 and find some foundations lay in creases but this doesn’t. I’m prone to breakouts but found if I build this up and use a setting spray it has full coverage. I only wear makeup for about four hours ever so often but I think this would last all day. Will invest in more Laura geller products gradually as it’s slightly above my normal price for cosmetics but worth it. You get what you pay for.
