Great for sensitive skin
Absolutely love this product and have been using it for two years. Apply prior to make up to help prevent blemishes. I have very sensitive skin and it is very gentle yet prevent breakouts. Leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized.

Good primer that makes makeup go on much smoother!
This primer did not irritate my skin at all, and was rather gentle on my face! The actual primer is a creamy-white color, and blends nicely into the skin. I applied this primer in the morning once before I applied any makeup. The primer did not seem to cover or “control” any of my blemishes or problem spots. But, it did make my makeup go on much smoother, and seemed to hydrate my skin a bit! In general, the primer did not really do what it claimed to do for me personally, but did have some other great qualities!

Especially in the heat, this works flawlessly, as your makeup doesn’t feel like it’s melting off. The green tint is especially appealing to me because it cancels out the red and breakouts. My daughter is delighted with the excellent product! Fast shipping! Thank you!

This primer was a disappointment for me personally. I’m not a big make up girl which is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 1. Maybe I’m the one to blame for how it worked out for me but this primer just produced little crumbs as I applied it, I had to wash it off so it wouldn’t look so splotchy. In summary this primer was not helpful for me

Best primer for my combo skin
Honestly I’ve tried a broad range of primers including $10 drugstore brands and $50 high end brands. None have really fit my skin right. My pores would always show or my skin would dry out or the primer wouldn’t hold my makeup. After the first couple uses of the elf primer, I immediately knew this was the primer for me. It’s super hydrating, covers my pores and lines and also has a decent hold on my makeup. Love the value for it too! Highly recommend

Not hydrating, peels right off the skin.
This has to be the worst primer I have ever used. I was really excited to try this considering it got such good ratings, but I was extremely disappointed. I put the primer on and it immediately was clumping off my skin. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and wash my face and try again. Even after washing my face and re-applying, it seemed off. I decided to try to put my base layer over it and that also started clumping and rolling off my skin which I have never had happen before. This is also not hydrating at all, it left me feeling very dry. Don’t get this if you have sensitive or dry skin. Also I did not color correct at all which is the whole reason I decided to try this product.
